Tintype photography, an art form over 170 years old, has experienced a resurgence since the 20th century. While many try to replicate its unique aesthetic using digital apps, nothing compares to the detail of authentic tintype, and few know the craft.
Noyel Gallimore is one of those few. Passionate about art and human connection, Noyel has mastered the antique wet plate collodion process. “My favorite part about it is how hands-on it is,” he shares. “Second to that is meeting so many wonderful people and seeing their response when they first see their tintype portrait appear in the fixer.”
Benchmark is thrilled to welcome Noyel for a portraiture event this November 9th, just in time for the holidays. Join us for an heirloom portrait to cherish for generations.
